  1. With Majora’s Mask coming in February, it will be the ultimate test for the emulator, since Majora uses fog heavily and the game had a rocky history with official emulators, it will be interesting to see how it runs on the NSO emulator.

  2. In terms of input lag in Banjo-Kazooie, I’ve only really experienced it during the entrance room for the Gobi's Valley level.
While it’s not the worst, it’s still very annoying.

  3. You keep saying “they’re listening and making fixes” these aren’t new games, they know what they’re supposed to look like, they know how they’re supposed to run. While it’s nice that they’re fixing things, they know full well they released this knowing that it wasn’t ready.

  4. I like to grind on games sometimes play then hours and days in a row on just that game, and also play alot of switch online emulation since I do this the oled switch is not good idea right? I heard if you play alot of the same games days in a row you are at risk for oled burnin that true?? If so v2 is much better cuz I plag games sometimes a week in a row without changing cartridge lol they even put a warning in manual to change games alot

  5. The room being brighter is better make it easier to see for those who have a hard time seeing in the dark 🌑. they should add a brightness 🔆 opinion so players can choose to play in the dark or light. Now if only they would add some PC ports like hexen 64 and StarCraft 64. Or maybe make them separate from the emulator like they did for Doom 64.

  6. My take on the fog: the fog was part of the technical limitations of the N64, and for other games they fixed the issue. However, Ocarina of Time used that limitation for artistic effect rather than feeling out of place as with other N64 games, so fixing the bug in general had an effect on this games artistic atmosphere.

  7. So why exactly would the fog give the switch performance problems? I could be way off base but I thought the reason they use fog in the first place was not because of artistic choice, it had to do with the performance of the game to keep the frame rate from tanking on N64 hardware?

  8. Even if it were VC instead of a subscription and even if it's a perfect emulation on top of that, I'm not paying for it. I hate paying for old games when I can use emulators on the internet for free. This is the same with what Sony and Microsoft offer, meaning they should make it free too.

  9. Anyone here play OOT on the switch? How bad is the input lag? I don’t care if the lighting in a few rooms is off or the fog is gone, I just care if the input lag makes it unplayable
