Nvidia’s SCREWED – Big Intel GPU Update
Nvidia is in big trouble because Intel seems to have slashed the price of their GPUs yet again leading to incredible value GPUs on their current lineup. Not only that, but also Battlemage has more leaks, and it’s starting to sound like it’s going to be an incredible leap in performance over the Intel Arc GPUs. So much so, that Nvidia may have a hard time selling anything other than the RTX 4090.

  1. I think Nvidia should start to worry, but I think their real concerns will start with the Intel Celestial, but the one who really needs to worry a lot about the Battlemage is AMD.

  2. Intel can literally influence nvidia fans if they use intel cpu.
They could just jam nvidia performances, kind of what google did with uhawei orvwhatever the cheap phone was.

  3. If Nvidia is forced to slash their prices beyond what shareholders want, then they might even stop selling graphics cards at all because that is hardly a source of income for them anymore. The only reason performance vs price is what they are is because they only want to sell any volume at this margin. If it is low volume then they just will going to produce less. Only means more % of fab capacity can go to their other more profitable products for datacenters. Maybe EVGA did see this coming and left the scene early for that reason. Remember a real reason was never given for their choice to leave.

  4. Nvidia will play the shuffle to pretend to stay face, but they really wont care.

On the other hand, I don't think Nvidia is dense enough not to understand how much of a fight in HPC they will have on their hands if they can get their GPU division running smoothly.

They are far from kings in the space. Loads of organizations had already chosen other chips for their segments, and an Intel that is percieved to be getting itself back to form is not gonna be easy for them to deal with, especially since AMD is already playing a serious contender in the space.

  5. Slow, such GPU need to be released now to be good product, based on techpowerup rx 6600 xt and A770 perf and TFLOPs, such GPUs have similar performance and Intel have about 2x more TFLOPs vs Radeon (19,66 vs 10,6), so Battlemage with 49,2 TFLOPs will be on 25 TFLOPs RDNA2 radeon lvl which is slighty above 6950 XT, so top tier Battlemage will be faster than RTX 4070, probably on 4070 Ti level. At the time NV and AMD will launch their next gen top tier GPUs and about half year later 5060 Ti and RX 8700/8600 XT which will have the same perf as top tier battlemage, so intel products will be good choice only for half year, then we will have cheap and stable AMD cards or little more expensive but with better RT RTX 5060 Ti.

  6. Right now the best choice is AMD 7600 or Nvidia 3060 12GB. I will go for the 7600 since it's a little better, cheaper and only downside the 4GB of VRAM less. But still.

  7. Dude why do your videos have some amazing quality? I've seen a lot of other youtubers who supposedly upload at 4k but their videos look grainy and blurry. Your videos at 1080p even look better than a lot of others' "4k" uploads. What camera and software are you running?

  8. Now just waiting to see Nvidia announce consumer CPU's lol. Intel vs Nvidia vs Amd vs Apple vs Qualcomm would be cool to see. Personally I'd love to have the ability to build a handheld in the same fashion as a desktop PC. Hopefully with the recent boom in handhelds, the hardware/tech for these devices will boom too. If something like the Steamdeck or ROG Ally also had support for Sim 3g/4g/5g in the same fashion as a smart phone, I'd be in ecstasy as a long haul trucker. Mobile gaming on phones would be great, if they had more support for game pads, eliminating on screen controls, and had proper cooling/ventilation/fans like handhelds and laptops. Unfortunately anyone whos a PC or Console gamer whos delved into mobile games, knows a lot of the apparent and blatant problems they face in comparison..😅 (Auto everything, micro transactions everywhere, P2W, ect..)

I miss the days of N64, GameCube, Gameboy Color/Advance, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Xbox360, Windows XP.. My enthusiasm for gaming then was a lot higher, and my overall enjoyment was better too. MMO'S back then were more addicting too. Unfortunately gaming and greed have become synonymous with one another.

  9. Damn battlemage only 256bit. Otherwise I’d buy it up. Maybe I’ll wait for a B990. Also, Nvidia have always been too proud to drop their pretentious prices. They do it last minute. They are in the market only for enthusiast top spot. It’s like they don’t even try to be price competitive, it’s only important they have the fastest card out that generation and one decent performing low end card, like the x050TI or x060 for that generation.

  10. Intel is not up there for so many years by being morons, they know what they are doing and clearly they have a plan all around.
Nvidia however will be just fine, masses are sheep's, check apple… no matter how anticonsumer, overpriced and or garbage they get they still sell like nuts their products… Nvidia was selling 2 year old cards/tech for 3k and people still bought them…

  11. i bought an a770…meh. I will buy a battlemage…even if meh…lets help intel compete guys!!!

I run a 4070 instead of my a770…but I believe in buying new from the disrupting new guy…

  12. NVidia is going to be more screwed by the high end iGPUs that AMD and Intel will have starting later this year. Strix Point and Meteor Lake are going to make the 550m and possibly a 4060 and under pointless on laptops. Basically low end graphics will all be iGPUs. Battlemage has a good chance to take share away from NVidia at the mid-range. So 4060Ti is toast if Intel prices it right or has a lower end SKU. The 4070 is probably where Intel will end up hitting on the performance target. 4080 might be in range if Intel has well optimized drivers. But that's a big IF on launch day, but may materialize a few months after launch. I'm excited to see what comes.

  13. I mean sounds cool but even 2x 3060ti (which I still think is very optimistic) is not a 4080 (would be 3090ti) and the arc770 from recent benchmarks seems still a bit worse than a 3060ti so even if it ends up as 2x it'd be a 3090 / 4070ti. I think around that performance seems more likely as well

  14. After Nvidia's announcements for the datacenter at Computex, I just don't give a crap about about consumer GPUs. Nvidia is absolutely not in trouble….the average consumer is.

  15. With those specs it would be closer to a 3080 than a 4080.

About +150% for cores and clocks, and about +50% memory bandwidth of the A770. That kind of jump usually gives you like 60-80% more performance within the same generation, which would put it around a 6800 XT/3080.
If we assume something like Maxwell to Pascal however, that kind of jump could result in 100-120% improvement. That puts it ever so slightly above a 6950XT/3090 Ti.

    320W and performance that's between a 6800XT/4070 and 6950XT/4070 Ti.
Since it uses 4nm and is allegedly around 400mm² (though I think 500 is more realistic considering how area inefficient Alchemist was), it'll cost at least 500 bucks. Meanwhile you can get the 6950XT for 600 bucks today already.

Battlemage seems to be somewhat of a nothingburger, unless they either achieve incredible architectural improvements or sell with almost no profit like with the A750.

  16. Nvidia is screwed? Hmmm well I saw the stock price at the store earlier and let me tell ya … he sure seemed to be doing well. My bad “ they “ sure seemed to be doing pretty well.. jk I know your just talking about gpus

  17. I wanna know how much intel paid you to schill for them. NOT ONE MAINSTREAM YOUTUBER IS RECOMENDING INTEL CARDS. NOT ONE. NO GAMERS NEXUS, NOT LTT, AND NOT JAYZ2CENTS. You cant say well these test arent that impressive, but take my word for it, theyre faster with driver updates. Nvidia isnt anywhere near being screwed. They are legitametly the best graphics cards on the market. Raytracing is more functional. Thier digital scaling is better. And the sheer computiing power of the 4090 is unmatched. I mean it has a 50% performance boost over the 3090ti which intel still cant compete with. I dont know why anyone would view you as an unbiased reviewer. youre obviously gobbling intel cock like its made of cold hard cash. DISHONEST, DISINGENUOS, and definitely FULL OF SHIT
