    One of my favourite consoles still to game on. Xbox and the Dreamcast are two machines that really feel like arcade quality gaming!

  11. please take note did you open it up there’s a capacitor that can leak I don’t remember what it’s called but I had an original Xbox and it the capacitor was leaking

  15. It's funny like how the Xbox bridged an emulation gap of two generations way before we thought that was even possible. Correct me if I'm wrong, but back then it used to be that if you were expecting to emulate something, you'd have to wait for the consoles to jump two generations so that they could be powerful enough to emulate what you were trying. Seeing an Xbox OG emulate PS1 and Nintendo 64 is still wizardry to me to this day.

  18. The Xbox 1 is still one of the systems i love most, you can do really a lot with it. But if we look at one specific Issue, i would never use an original xbox for emulation any more these days: INPUT LAG on many emulators .. and this is why that systems renders emulation on that system worthless, even when loving XBMC-Emustation.

  20. i purchased an xbox for parts, but now it fully operational. ive soft modded before, but this one already had xbmc on it. can you install over it or do you have to reset it back to original and softmod again?

  28. 1:28 OutRun 2 now works on the latest version of CxBxReloaded now, but I'd use XEMU to emulate it instead, it's slower but not as glitchy (however it still runs at 100%, you just can't upscale it as much without losing performance)

  29. I used to have a Sega and an XBOX and lately bought and 007 DVD box.
    It's so cool that you can do all that on an XBOX and I've actually replaced the harddrive and hardmodded it.

    It's basically the best DVD player which can also run games, yes it's chunky but I love the crystal look of my xbox.
