GPU News that Gives Us the Hope to Press On

GPU NEWS TIME to round out 2023! Got everything from new graphics card releases, Nvidia political drama, best games of 2023, crazy monitors, to rumors of new GPUs we can actually care about.

==JOIN THE DISCORD!==

The RTX 40-SUPER Series is going to be announced very soon (January 2024). The RTX 4070 Super is going to be the first GPU to officially release quickly after Nvidia’s CES event according to leaks and rumors. AMD has a 7600xt in the works (maybe) that may have 16gb of VRAM at a reasonable price. The RTX 3050 6gb is probably going to be bad and is releasing in February 2024, but I guess we’ll see (prove me wrong Nvidia).

The US Government has been in a constant war with Nvidia over shipping RTX 4090s to China because of how fast they are at computing AI. Again, the Government may be shutting down Nvidia’s 4090 Dragon card, which initially complied. The 12 VHPWR connector is STILL having issues, clearly showing it probably wasn’t ready to be rolled out. An amazing 32in, 4K, OLED monitor is coming soon and about to make monitors genuinely insane.

  1. I like how you see on almost every gpu news people whine and cry how expesive gpus became and yet geforce for example makes a forture from month to month. That means one thing costumer these days are not only dumber but even more impacient. A combo that big cooperation almost love as money.

  2. Guys, the 7600 XT isn’t the card you’re looking for. It’s just an overclocked 7600 that will run out of performance long before it ever runs out of VRAM for an extra, like, 90 bucks. The 6700 XT is still out there for $300-350 constantly, and it’s considerably faster than this thing.

  3. Guys 16gb of vram are for 4k ready tier cards or 1440p ultra settings all of which this card doesn't have the grunt for. 12gb at most is needed for this card. It's a 1080p card at most. You will never need 16gb of vram from this particular card. people need to get out of the "high vram makes better card" mindset. What's next 7650xt 24gb. Also, slower memory on it is not a good thing lol.

  4. I don't see how $600 for a x70 card is apealing. For the 4070 super to apealing it must cost less than $400. The ti must be $500 max. Otherwise the money is just not worth…

  5. if 7600XT comes with x16 (over 128 bit) bus width then I would definitely get it but if it comes with x8 like 7600 (non-xt) & 4060ti 16gb then it's useless to me even it has more ram.

  6. 7800 non-XT is possible if they lower the price of 7700XT further down a bit.
Although it is more sensible to use low binned cores just for 7700XT instead of releasing a lower spec 7800

7600XT would do with faster core, faster memory and larger capacity VRAM.

  7. No one of the reviewers talks about it but 7800 XT still has compatibily issue due the unoptimized AMD Driver issues. I just bought one 3 weeks ago and I had to return to the seller because was unable to play any games form EA and also from Xbox apps they use accelerated graphics it's a terror with AMD Drivers !
Games started in window mode and I could not change the resolution also when enlarged the window the actual resolution of the display my FPS droped down to 5 FPS a huge disappointment paying for GAMES and get the worst experience related to the driver incompatibility issues !

  8. Olá! Sou do Brasil e gosto dos seus vídeos. Você acha que esse ano vale a pena eu pegar uma RX6800? Ela é de 2020 e isso me deixa um pouco com receio

  9. I feel like the GPU market targets a lot of "imaginary" performance & price-point needs of consumers. Realistically they should be targeting:
    – An "ok" 1080p card (cheap as dirt, 8GB)
    – A "strong" 1080p card / "ok" 1440p card (12-16 GB)
    – A "strong" 1440p card / "ok" 1440p ultrawide card (16 GB)
    – A "strong" 1440p ultrawide card / "ok" 4k card (16-20 GB)
    – A "strong" 4k card (20-24 GB)
That's the 5 cards consumers are looking for (as a group). Having a product stack which is dramatically more complex than this is kinda pointless.
And having cards which fit "in between" these performance targets, is always going to disappoint (or just be a vehicle for making less informed buyers upgrade 'twice')
The divorce between gpu card design, and specific use-case performance targets, is not very helpful.

  10. I'm happy that armored core 6 is on top games on steam because it's a masterpiece that is made by Fromsoftware the same people that made the soulborne series and it deserves the praise because of how well done it is. Also when this game came out on pc last year it performed great like I barely of any issues.

  11. 7800XT has been a solid daily driver. Would be fine to get 7600XT if 16gb also. 7900XTX is nice in using the old 3x 8 pin not the 12VHWPR. Not sure if the cable extentions adapters are the only bad or if the cables are bad also, have read a lot of articles about this 12VHWPR though.

  12. The main games I played in 2023 were 7 Days to Die and old titles I had in my library such at Halo MCC and RealRTCW (mode for Return to Castle Wolfenstein that makes it playable on modern hardware). I did also restart Max Payne so there's that one as well. I'm just not motivated to play modern games much. Hardware updates are for games like 7 Days to Die and the occasional game like the remake of Dead Space…technically sitting in my library unplayed. lol

  13. hey man, was planning on switching from my 2080 SUPER to a brand new 7900 XT. Is this a good guy to buy or AMD might release something new soon?

    Thankss

  14. Hi, I just saw a 3080 v2 oc 10gb on facebook marketplace for only €80. I asked him, is it fake, but he just said its made asia and thats why its so cheap. Is it true guys??
