I just purchased and installed the n2itive lowering links. Pretty straight-forward install process. Can probably be done without removing wheels (on the front), but the rear definitely requires the wheels to be removed. Set them at -7 in the front and -8 rear. Approx 1″ drop.

How does it ride ?
I’m getting my lowering links installed next week. How has it been since you installed – any regrets with the setting of -7,-8 settings ? Any rubbing issues?

Can't say that I like lowering cars this large, would make more sense with the Model S.
I'm surprised you didn't replaced the rear camber arm first. Tires will wear out real fast. I'm currently waiting on mine to come in.

Your driver side FWD looks to be 1/4 of an inch too low, @ 5:27 is a good side shot showing it. Door handles and wheel arch don't match up. Have you requested SC to look at it? Hopefully they don't pull the "within spec" mumbo jumbo.

How is the ride quality at the new lowered stance versus the old stance? I would imagine it would ride a bit harsher, and you would only put it at very low at highway speeds.
Seems like a great idea! I concerned about back tire wear and drive shaft issues. What prevents Tesla from setting theirs at the same degree?
Yo that take off is crazy! Omg
Lowering will protect your front cv joints from warping their ball channels at high torque which results in the dreaded vibration-on-acceleration issue that has plagued performance S/X's for years. I lowered my P85DL 1" after the 4th shaft set replacement and never had the problem again.
That said, there is currently no solution for decreasing negative camber on the rear. Several companies are working on it but nothing out yet. Negative camber on stock links at "very low" is -2.1 degrees which is already extreme. Lowering another inch will put the rear wheels at about -2.5 degrees which will result in VERY VERY fast tire wear. You can adjust the front camber and toe now which you should do as soon as possible.
When I lowered my P85DL, I bought adjustable upper links and brought the camber back to a mere -1.3 degrees and my last set of all season tires made it 40K miles.
