2. Still no Adobe test!! Premiere or After, this is so anoying, it's always FCP… FCP is adpated to Mac, it's interesting to see how it goes with Adobe Premiere or complicated motion project in AE

3. I'm sure these comparisons are helpful but for me, budget conscious as I'm sure many are, I'd rather see a comparison of one $ tier to the next closest tier, specifically M2 Max to M3 Pro, because the prices there will be within a few $ hundreds.

The M2 Max is in a weird spot, considering that it's ever so slightly faster in read, write & processing speeds if you got the extra money to spend. then get the M3 max otherwise save your money and get the M1 max. There's literally no difference between M1 and M2 max & that's coming from a guy with an M1 pro 32gb 1TB ssd.

5. Bro, an M3 max cost 5300 usd. In Canadian that’s like 7K. No one will ever own one. Maybe in like 6 years when the price comes down people will buy that instead of the lower tier M10 😂 most people rn are buying M1s and M2s. I just got a M1 Pro 32gig 16 in and it costed an arm and a leg. On top of that it was a great deal and way more then what most people I know are running at work and among my friends.

Its strange that the fan goes on with Logic on M3 Max…on my M2 Max, i can work on max load the WHOLE DAY without it turning on….this is extremely important for music producers because the studio has to be silent. (the fans are VERY loud when they turn on with GPU stuff) Maybe Apple uses GPU Audio? Its a new technology where the GPU takes over calculations for fx plugins. Hence the permance boost and noise. Does anybody have information on this? Maybe on Gearspace?

15. You are manipulating graphics to make impression of triple performance boost when there is only for example 50% (still large boost, but much lower then bars on the plots suggest), gives impression that your are being dishonest.

    They have likely resold that model but still would be interesting to see how far they have come from their last intel notebook.

    : wow guys it took only 5 milliseconds for new MBP 23max to finish the new blender 10gb monster file to render

    And a whopping 1 and half minute for MBP 22max to finish! That 3x time faster guys wow !

23. What's mind blowing is the fan noise, M3 is a complete hot garbage mess!!! Save $1500 and get a M1 MAX.

24. If you're still using an Intel Mac. Get a M1 MacBook Air first. It's much cheaper and you'll still appreciate the performance jump. But if you really wanna buy something new maybe I'd go for the m3 Macs then. But still a lot of money.

28. Hi. I have a choice between 14" m1 max 64ram/2tb or 16" m1 max 32ram/1tb(they are both at the same price). I've got m1 14" 16ram/512gb on which i am using Mainstqge3 . It looks like 16ram is not enough for me. It is 5gb project (with many vsts n plugins), and was wondering ,if 64ram will make that much of a difference over the 32ram?

37. Scene you used for testing Blender was not using ray tracing, it was using eevee and it's a rastering render engine. Maybe do the classroom scene that would be more helpful.

41. To see true video Editing you need a timeline with cuts, transitions, music tracks etc. that’s what slows things down in adobe premiere. On mac if you try speeding up playback to scan footage the mac stutters often. The macbook struggles with iphone pro max footage once you start editing. Unless its a user error on my part im not impressed with video editing on mac. Its slow on 1080p editing from iphone.

42. Nice to see in benchmarks. Takt Amd or Nvidia can easily crash M3 max.
    Cin24 can have over 8000 points for Amd CPU.
