  1. 1 week… 1 freaking week I spent going up and down the freaking internet for this 4 min and 25 seconds worth of critical information. Brother I can't thank you enough for this "how to" content and wish all the bests for you.. Bravo ❤

  2. Thanks for the video! So all I need to do is just find the lowest Lite Load profile that is stable? Do I need to adjust any other settings too? I'm new to this, so not very knowledgeable. Thank you!

  3. My 14700KF on that same board with default settings and using Cinebench 2024 resulted in over 300W power draw for me… yikes! Reduced PL1/2, ICCMax to ..err.. 253/253W and 350A, then started to play around with Lite Load. I've taken it as low as "4" which runs stable and reduces power-draw and temps considerably. Basically, that 14700 (and I would imagine the 13700 too) can't be run on default power-settings without running into throttling territory. I'm only on a 240mm AIO (a very good one, but a 240, nonetheless), but I doubt even a 360mm AiO could cope with this CPU with no limits in place.
I'm not sure "Lite Load" is a true undervolt, because I think what it does is send more voltage to the CPU under load to increase stability. The higher the "Lite Load" setting, the more additional voltage the CPU will get. And on "9", the board totally overdoes it with the added voltage, creating excess heat and power draw without giving any real performance increase. The ideal setting is different for every chip AFAIK, but I've read a few folks saying "3" worked fine for them. I haven't lowered it that far, but "4" works great for me and does run stable during consecutive CB-runs (20 mins).

  4. Thank you a lot for this video, I know I am a bit late for the party but I recently got a new build with msi 790 pro A moba and i7 13700k and used air cooling as well and this CPU Lite Load was a savior for me. I got 30k cinebench score with load 3 and my max temp was 77C under test, Liancool 216 case ( room temp 20C ) I am also planning on getting Noctua NF-F12 fans to eventually replace all fans inside the case with them and it should make my CPU even cooler. In game temp was 54C ( Baldurs Gate 3 ) CPU idle temp 27C

  5. Thanks guy, just one setting and it won't light up anymore!
I thought I would have to figure out what to change where in the BIOS to click
PS: Model7 is my choice in air ASASSIN 4, temperature up to 91С (Cinebench-2024)

  7. This is totally one of the best video about i7 13th gen. Everything just straight to the point from assembly of the pc to undervolting within less than 5 mins while the explanation is more clearer than most people trying to explain.

  8. If I do the same on my PC, I also get lower temperatures and lower power consumption but also (unlike in your test) much lower scores in Cinebench.

So for example I get 27000 on mode 9. Then I get just 16000 on mode 3. Is there perhaps something that I am missing? Would greatly appreciate any advice under already fantastic video.

  9. I've 13700KF, ASROCK Z790 Taichi. Changing Mode from Auto to 5 or to 4 or to 3 changes nothing. Cooler Montech DT24. Idle temp 35-40, CB23 – 99-100 C.

  10. Hi ! I've a good deal with the 13700kf but for real i dont gonna use it (13600k would be too strong so imagine 13700 !), but the price is rly interesting (same price as 13600kf…)
So i will take it i think, but the power consuption scare me, when you have 197w in max power, on normal use (1440p gaming, and premiere pro) do you have an idea of how many W i will need ?
